TikTok video age-restricted (18+)? How to appeal

TikTokVideos & reach Updated 30 Oct 2026

An 18+ restriction hides the video from younger viewers and cuts its reach. If the video is suitable for everyone, you can ask TikTok to review it.

Questions

Where do I submit this TikTok appeal?

TikTok app — the notice on the video. Open the notice in Inbox or tap the video in your profile.

No. Only TikTok can review your account, and the appeal is free. People who ask for money to "unban" or "recover" accounts are almost always scammers — never share your password or login codes with them.

Is this an official TikTok form?

No. This is a free template from Umair TikTok Wala Academy. You still submit it yourself inside TikTok. We are not part of TikTok, and no one can guarantee the result.
