Facebook may lock an account until you prove who you are with an ID or a video selfie. The name on your profile must match your ID, or the check fails.

Appeal template — copy and fill in

Hello Meta Team,

Facebook has asked me to confirm my identity for my account ([Profile link]).

My name is [Full legal name], the same as on my account. I have uploaded a clear photo of my [CNIC / passport / driving licence]. The name and date of birth on my ID match my profile.

Please confirm my identity and restore full access to my account.

Thank you,
[Full legal name]

Replace every [highlighted part] with your own details before you send it.

Where to submit

Facebook — login checkpoint or Confirm Your Identity form

How to submit — step by step

Follow the identity check that appears when you log in.
Upload a clear photo of your ID (all corners visible, no glare).
If asked, record the video selfie.
Web form: facebook.com/help/contact/515009838910929

Important

Your profile name must match your ID. A brand name (like "... TikTok Wala") on a personal profile will fail the check.

Before you send it

Use your usual phone and internet connection.
Your profile name must match your ID if Facebook asks for one.
Fill every [bracket] with your real details and delete the brackets.
Keep the message short and honest — reviewers read many every day.
Never pay anyone who promises to "unban" your account. They cannot, and many are scams.
