Questions this lesson answers
What is Rednote and how do I get it?
Rednote (Xiaohongshu) is a Chinese video app. It works as a phone app, not a website - search 'Rednote' in Play Store (red icon with Chinese text) and install it.
How do I sign up on Rednote?
Use the Google/email login option. A Pakistani phone number doesn't work for sign-up there.
Rednote is all in Chinese - what do I do?
Turn on auto-translate when the app asks, right after you open it.
What should I search on Rednote?
Search the topics from your niche list - for example ASMR, cooking, cartoons, interior design, crafts, home improvement, bikes and restoration - and look at what kinds of videos creators make.
Why do Rednote creators have fewer followers?
Follower counts are generally lower on Rednote. Judge a topic by the type of content and how many creators make it, not only by followers.
How do I keep track of ideas I find on Rednote?
Follow creators you like and save their links topic-wise in a note or WhatsApp group so you can find them later.
Can I download Rednote videos and post them on my Page?
No. Use Rednote only for ideas and make your own original or AI-made videos. Re-uploading other people's videos is unoriginal content - it doesn't earn and can get your Page flagged.
