Questions this lesson answers

What is RPM on Facebook?

RPM is how much you earn per 1,000 views. Views from countries like the US, UK, Canada and Australia usually earn much more than views from low-RPM countries.

How do I block countries from my Facebook Page?

On laptop: Page > Settings > Followers and public content > Country Restrictions. Choose 'Hide from certain countries', add the countries one by one and save.

Where is Country Restrictions in the Facebook app?

Open the Page > three dots > Settings, then scroll to the bottom to Country restrictions.

What is the difference between 'Show only to certain countries' and 'Hide from certain countries'?

'Show only' makes your Page visible only in the countries you list. 'Hide' hides it only in the countries you list - this is the one used for blocking low-RPM countries.

What should I do before restricting countries?

Add all the admins you need first, then apply the country restriction.

What happens after I hide my Page from a country?

People in that country can't see, search or share your Page. Set it once, early, so you don't have to undo it later.
