Short answer: 10,000 followers + 150,000 views in the last 30 days + original content + clean Page Quality + age 18+ + eligible country + a payout account in your own name. Meet all seven and the Content Monetization option appears in Professional Dashboard → Monetization.
The 7 criteria
- A Page (or professional-mode profile) you admin. Personal profiles in normal mode cannot monetize.
- 10,000 followers. Followers, not likes — the two are different numbers on a Page.
- 150,000 views in the last 30 days. A rolling window; one viral Reel can push you over, a quiet month can drop you under.
- Original content. Made by you. Reposts from TikTok/YouTube/other Pages, stock-clip compilations and CapCut templates count as "reused" or "unoriginal" and block eligibility.
- Page Quality with no violations. Check Professional Dashboard → Page Quality. Any "Limited" or "Restricted" status for monetization, copyright or community standards blocks you until it clears.
- Age 18+ and an eligible country. Pakistan is eligible.
- Payout and tax details. Bank account in the Page owner's exact name; tax form completed. Missing or mismatched details stop payments even after approval.
The criteria that fail Pages quietly
- Reused content. The single biggest reason. Even 3–4 reposted videos can mark a Page "not eligible for monetization".
- Engagement bait. "Comment 1 for part 2", "Share for luck" posts trigger a Page Quality flag.
- Copyrighted music. Songs not from Facebook's library get videos muted or blocked from earning.
- Misleading titles / thumbnails. Clickbait flags the Page.
- Buying followers or views. Inauthentic behaviour = permanent ineligibility.
- Several Pages from one phone with multi-space apps. Linked-account flags.
How to check your Page right now
- Open the Page → Professional Dashboard.
- Tap Monetization — it lists each requirement with a tick or the number you still need.
- Tap Page Quality — it must say "No violations". If not, follow the appeal link there before doing anything else.
Fastest way to meet the numbers
- One niche, one audience, daily Reels of 30–90 seconds — most Pages cross 10k/150k in 30–60 days this way.
- AI-generated video (Google Flow / Veo, Whisk, CapCut) is original if you made it — and lets you post daily without a camera.
- Target English-speaking viewers if you want meaningful earnings; Pakistani views help you qualify but pay very little.
