Requirements to get a Page monetized
- A Facebook Page in professional mode — not a personal profile only.
- 10,000 followers on the Page.
- 150,000 views on your content in the last 30 days.
- Original content — no reposts, no copied videos, no reused clips from other creators.
- No policy violations — check Page Quality; a single "limited" strike blocks monetization.
- Age 18+ and a Pakistani bank account or payout method in your own name.
The catch nobody tells beginners: monetization depends on where your viewers are, not where you are. Pakistani views pay roughly 10–20× less than US or UK views. A Page with 1 million Pakistani views can earn under $10; the same views from the US can earn a few hundred dollars. How to get monetized — 6 steps
- Create a Page, not just a profile. Set the category, add a profile picture, cover and a short about section. Turn on professional mode. One device, one account.
- Choose one niche and one audience. Nature, mini dramas, animals, transformations, mini worlds — in English if you want US/UK views. Do not mix niches on one Page.
- Post original content daily. Reels of 30–90 seconds are the core; add videos, photos and text posts too — Content Monetization pays on all of them. AI-generated content counts as original if you made it.
- Reach the threshold. 10,000 followers and 150,000 views in 30 days — usually 30–60 days of daily posting. Watch the Professional Dashboard.
- Apply and set up payouts. When the monetization tool appears, apply, then add your bank details and tax information. Name on the bank account must match the Page owner's ID.
- Get paid monthly. Facebook pays around the 21st of each month once you cross the payout minimum. Money lands in your Pakistani bank in 3–5 working days.

- Bank — most students use Meezan, UBL, HBL or Bank Alfalah. Add the account in Payout Settings with the exact name on your CNIC.
- Tax — Facebook asks for tax information (W-8BEN for non-US creators). Fill it correctly; a blocked tax form stops the next payout.
- Withholding in Pakistan — non-filers lose around 20% at the bank; registering as an FBR filer reduces it.
- Minimum payout — earnings below the minimum roll over to the next month.
- "Payout not received" — check three things: status shows Paid, 3–5 working days have passed, bank details match your ID.
