How to Connect Instagram to a Facebook Page (2026)

On laptop, switch to your Page and open Settings & privacy > Linked accounts (under Permissions, at the bottom) > Instagram > Connect. Allow Instagram messages in Inbox, log in to your Instagram account and continue through the screens.

Log in with the code Instagram sends to your email, then continue linking.

Go to Linked accounts. If it shows 'Connected Instagram' with a 'Disconnect account' option, it is linked, even if you saw a business manager message during linking.

In Meta Business Suite, click Create post, tick both Facebook and Instagram under 'Post to', and publish. Untick one if you want to post on only one.

Posts made on Instagram from a laptop browser don't go to Facebook. Post from the Instagram mobile app with automatic sharing to Facebook turned on, or post from Meta Business Suite with both ticked.

In the Instagram app, create your post, tap Next, then under More options turn on automatic sharing to Facebook (Story and Threads have their own toggles).

Issues show up more often with new Instagram accounts or new Pages. Older accounts usually link without problems. Ask in the group if it keeps happening.
